Roy KennethDAYRoy, passed away peacefully at St David's Hospice on Wednesday, 11th February 2026, aged 83 years. Originally of Birmingham, where he worked at British Leyland as a Fitter and later an Engineer, earning the nickname Dayo. He moved to Llandudno, alongside his wife Suzanne and bought a guesthouse while also working as a taxi driver until his retirement. He moved to Gyffin, Conwy in his later years.
Roy was the loving husband of the late Suzanne, a much loved dad of Steve and Chris, his wife Kate and a treasured grandfather to Toby. Roy will be deeply missed by his family, friends, neighbours and everyone that knew him.
Roy's funeral will take place on Monday, 2nd March 2026 at 12.30pm at Colwyn Bay Crematorium.
